A Place Lonely Hearts Live Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Place Lonely Hearts Live

Rating: 5.0

there are people who think believe
that people who live alone must be lonely
lonely in a lonely empty house
some who live alone especially in old age
left are lonely but busy busy lives
do not often have time to be lonely
a busy mind busy busy in thoughts
is crowded busy not time static lonely

some people will testify to truth
lonely can live in a crowded house
alone is alone in a crowd isolated
in a crowd alone can be stranger lonely
lonely hearts living without company
alone cut off from others is solitary

A very discerning poem on people's lives and behavior. So true.
