A Place To Finally Call Home Poem by Aanuoluwa Adebanjo

A Place To Finally Call Home

Once i wandered alone
Looking for a safe place to stay
Until i came across an haven
An embodiment of love
An epitome of a beautiful world
A place of joy and happiness
A place where i found care
A place where i always want to be
A place to finally call home

Once i searched and searched
For a place to lay my head
Until i came across a castle
Decorated and embroided with beautiful flowers
Then i entered it and seeked for hospitality
And its people welcomed me
And gave me water when i thirst
And food when i hunger
A place to finally call home
