To heather
Since I 1st talked to you
I knew everything was right
You left me with butterflies
in my stomach as I laid my
head down each and every night

You need me
when I need you the most
Your beauty is that greater than a dove
Each and every day i fight my demons
with my strongest weapon; your love

When I gaze into your sparkly emerald eyes
I know I unlocked a heart of gold
The only heart I seek to have and to hold
We're never what you call normal
The weirdest, in fact, in sight
but every night I lay next to you
I know everything's right

You're my guide when I'm lost
You're my soft place to land when I fall
I love you and prove anything
that nothing's worth the cost
When chaos is swarming all around me
I see love kindness and peace in your eyes is all

My sweet daring love
I knew through all the stars above
we can pave a golden road of love
break all the chains of life and be free
