A Poet Can Write Poetry As A Sacred Trust Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Poet Can Write Poetry As A Sacred Trust

the poet feels rush of words
gifts themes emotive stirring inspiring
words causing reader minds
to pause to stop to think to ponder

precious poets have for a long time believed
that a poet can write poetry as a sacred trust
sometimes attempting to write universal truth
accurately the opposite extreme can be light

entertaining or writing
for the joy pleasure
need desire to write

to express feelings
emotions thoughts defined
with more clarity
