A Poet's View Poem by Faith Elizabeth Brigham

A Poet's View

Rating: 5.0

i see things clearly
and yet i am called a dreamer
yes, i am a poet who sees things
only another poet can see
these details of raw reality
one who views life vividly
i write because it is
part of my soul's work
and yet i am labeled insane
as long as life goes on
i'll unleash the verse erupting
inside my brain

Oh Faith I relate to how you feel. Those of us who see......we are.

Artists are so often misunderstood and maligned... but the artist perseveres! Beautifully written! Brian

Horay for Faith! We could not have anyone better to represent poets of the world, than you! If you tell the lay-person that you are a poet, they seem to laugh and say, 'your kidding! ' In the long run, I laugh at them and their naiive view of life. A voice for the poet! ! A 10.
