A Poultice Of Figs Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

A Poultice Of Figs

A poultice of figs!
To boil the oil,
The price of the rice! !
Like a shadow behind you;
Step by step,
Nice and easy,
To throw a dice!
Forward and backward,
Onward with the truth,
To allow in righteous works,
And to follow after righteous morals.
