A Prayer Poem by Randy McClave

A prayer is not a wish
It does not put more food upon your dish,
You must have faith and believe
Or truthfully you will one day grieve.
A diet is for weight to lose,
Because the person did choose.

A prayer is a lot like a diet
You must believe in it to have it,
if you don't have the faith and belief
You will not find comfort or relief.
You'll lose faith and you'll gain weight,
As you will have sealed your own fate.
