A Prayer For My Daughter, Caroline Elizabeth Cookmc-Lain

May winds that rise from gentle seas,
Lift up her heart in waves of peace;
Where tides of moonlit silver roam,
Let her spirit find a home in peace.

May sunlit days bring joy anew,
In skies of clear and endless blue.
Let every step she takes in grace,
Bring kindness bright to every place.

Oh, keep her gentle, soft, and kind,
With love and empathy entertwined.
Like her father, may she learn to see
The heart in every creature free.

Bless her hands to tend and care,
For all she loves and all who share.
This world of wonder, fierce and fair,
Where earth and ocean breathe pure air.

Guide her with compassion's flame,
To honor life, protect the same.
Let beauty find her every day,
And in her heart forever stay.

Through nights of stars and whispered dreams,
May she feel love in endless streams;
On Hernando's shore, where waves recede,
May peace and hope be all she needs.
