A Prayer For Tomorrow Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Prayer For Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

Let's say a prayer for tomorrow
For our lives, Lord, are in danger
Our world has turned upside down
Reality seems like a blur.

Families are torn apart right now
We see it every single day
For hatred is in the air with sickness
There is tension in every way.

Our loved ones are constantly ill
So many then will die
It can even go away and come back
Oh Lord please tell us why.

Tempers flare, and we don't dare
Often say what we believe
Hurt comes from words so often
As well as deaths and so we grieve.

I know you can't just stop it all
Oh Lord, I wish you could
Turn back the clocks and start over
I believe if you could you would.

But you put a brain into our heads
Use it, I know you said
But 2020 was never planned
And so many will turn up dead.

Help us Lord, please help us
Around the world there is sorrow
Let us bow our heads, my friends
And say a prayer for tomorrow!

with all the problems the world presently has, 'Let's say a prayer for tomorrow' is perfect timing, divine insurance born of necessity

A well meaning poem, thankfully these things were fortold in 2 Timothy chapter 3, there it for told the dispositions and attitudes that would identify the last days, thank god this world of ungodly people is coming to an end very soon...as soon as the cry of peace and security is proclaimed as if has been achieved, sudden destruction will be upon them
