A Prayer In A Time Of National Demonic Worship Poem by Gert Strydom

A Prayer In A Time Of National Demonic Worship

My Lord, Your name is a mighty fortress
in dire times.
At university when a demonic entity
tried it\s very best to kill me,
uttering Your name made it disintegrate.

Now I am calling on You once again,
in a time where the situation is far more dangerous.
I am calling on You to act
where the South African government's
poet laureate is calling nationally
on traditional leaders
for a day of worship of the ancestral spirits,
with rites and rituals to accompany this,
which is actually calling on the worship
of demonic entities
with spells and enchantments
on Saturday the eighth of May.
In a time where the COVID-19 pandemic is rampant,
this can have serious consequences.

My God, You alone are omnipotent
and I call on You to act without delay
where with these humble words I pray,
that You and Your angelic host
will take this evil away
and that on every sincere believer
Your blessings will stay,
throughout South Africa and the world
on every single day.

Amen, and let Your will be done
to each and every one.
