I promise to have positivity always in my voice
That triumphs any negativity in my way

I promise to find the strength
To pick myself up whenever I stumble and fall

I promise to never give up and turn back
Whenever I'm faced with a minor setback

I promise to be the one to fix myself and not run to anyone
Whenever my feelings are hurt and bruised

I promise to spend the rest of my life
Being contented with what I have

I promise, with all my heart, to be someone
I needed when I was younger
