Protected by your arms
And being in bed with matching fuzzy socks
Our bodies mold perfectly together
Like those good movies and hot chocolate on a cold rainy day
I looked up at you to see you deep in the movie playing on the screen
And that's when I noticed the peace and harmony you bring
I smiled and rubbed my thumb along your caramel covered hand
You smiled so brightly and reached down to place a kiss on my forehead
Pulled me closer to you and buried your head in the crock of my neck
I smiled ever so happily and stared at you with all the love in me
And that was when I knew I wanted this forever
The safety that I needed and longed for
The comfort and eternal happiness
The home that I could run to
The heaven that I could never run away from
