She was the fruits and vegetables
The pure, the good and the beneficial
Everything he needed for a long, beautiful and peaceful life
As she came in plentiful
Just for him
He blinded her with fake love, care and affection
Took a bite out of her, chewed her up
And then spit her out like she was poison in his mouth
Tossed her aside, threw her awake
She stayed aside waiting to be with him again
Thinking about what she did wrong
But what did he preferred?
The oil, the fats, the unhealthy pleasure
But somehow a satisfaction to him
Days gone by as she watched him ate and ate
Until she herself was sick
Until it later dawned onto him that he was making a mistake
But she grew, strengthened herself and was blooming so majestic
He tried to make it up to her, apologize, love her again
But she was already superior to someone else.
