Thoughts Of My Broken Heart
When you held me you said "forever"
Now that you're gone I know you meant "never"
Tears of blood shed from my broken heart
I never thought we would be apart
You're the one who broke my heart
The reason why my life's falling apart
The one who made me cry, yet
I still love you and I don't know why
I gave you my heart
But you went and broke it apart
I honestly thought you loved me
Did you ever really mean it?

Nice play on words and rhyme. I love this poem 4 it painted a pucture of a broken geart rightly. Ty
