A Quiet Saturday Morning Snuggling - Poem by Michael P. McParland
A very good Saturday morning to you my sweet one
and before we must get up to do the chores that there are
I want to be able to just spend a quiet morning
with you snuggling on the couch in each others arms.
I can't seem to beat this tiredness that is just
staying within me and right on the surface
and I would love to just close my eyes here this morning
and quietly talk with you while you were curled up
in my arms and drinking your coffee.
A quiet morning to just snuggle and kiss before
I have to get up and go do the dishes which I'm
going to do in halves because I have to take things
one bit and one step at a time.
I want a quiet Saturday morning to just sit and snuggle
before this day must start in full and then we'd
have to wait until the afternoon ton relax with each other.
Oh my sweet Kira I want and so badly need a quiet
Saturday morning with my gorgeous sweet Queen.
A quiet morning to look in your eyes and let you see
all the deep truths within mine,
to say without words how we love each other
and our hearts melt each time we see each other,
a quiet morning before the kids rise to just
enjoy the fact that we our together because
God has helped open the way and we have eternity
to bask in the glow of what we have and feel.
A quiet Saturday morning with my blessed
goddess and Angel is what we are both needing
to feel so happy, content, and completed.
A quiet Saturday morning with my gorgeous Kira
is what I will hold onto as I go through this morning,
as I get up to do part of the dishes and take care
of a few other things before in a little bit
I will sit down to write you and let you
know how I am doing and then sit back to watch
more of my movie so longingly wishing
I could be holding and kissing you.
A quiet Saturday morning with my beautiful woman
is the greatest thing I could be sharing right now
with my most beloved Angel,
a quiet Saturday morning just knowing you're beside me
sharing our warmth to give peace and happiness.
I love you sweet Kira and feel my arms
around you and all these sweet kisses as we share
the most beautiful and gorgeous quiet Saturday morning
in spirit right now my sweet lady.
