A Ray Of Light Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

A Ray Of Light

Rating: 5.0

Lady Awareness walks when wearing illusion,
Head held high, but her wisdom set to flee,
Truth far from whole, suffering division,
Lofty she looks around, but li'le can see.
When garbs of illusion worn by the world,
Not of wisdom, info bytes weapons wield,
Truth's seldom whole, mere this-that one eyed bird,
A part looks whole fetching no fuller yield.
Eternal does this twain dance in twilight,
Be-muddled mind walks through this or that door,
And sees things as black or white, wrong or right,
Truth is whilst stuck on a far off vague shore.
Count on God's grace, photons1 can better see—
And see whole scene beyond duality.

1. Photon can be present at two places at the same time. It has incredible awareness to mutate from a wave (or energy)to particle (matter) , a quantum mystery! Mind suffers from this-or-that paradigm: wave or particle, day or night…, a puzzle incomprehensible. Computers accept 0 or 1. Human mind is not much better. On the other hand, holistic awareness is non-dual, the undifferentiated whole. This sonnet goes on a wonderment trip on the wings of these facts.

I remember feeling good after writing this sonnet, but today that except you it has found no reader. What should I say? When many pass by calling it stone, you truly know a gem as gem. Or may be you search and find it. I am so grateful.
