A Real Miss Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Real Miss

Rating: 4.5

You have really missed
She put her hand around and teased
She just whispered something in ear and released
A sigh of long relief and felt really displeased

Really, did I ever?
I was taken a back with shiver
Some thing was bound to happen
The helplessness emerged all of sudden

I had never observed her in despair
We had always moved with happiness in pair
Today she had deliberately kept loose her hair
It was moving gently in the direction of air

She had lot of feelings today
I was trying to fid out in some way
Though she smiled in between with joy
I was thinking how to make her comfortable to enjoy

“You are not your best as you used to be”
She jokingly remarked at me with good smile
The distance was reduced to feet from a mile
I was sure at her killer’s goal for a while

I was at my best and readily on her side
We were happily married and no differences so wide
She may come at any time and sit by the side
We may talk for a while and confide

I thought she was at her peak
She was tempted to be very weak
She had lot of words to speak
I was all so keen to find a leak

She may not give up that easily
At the same time she may part with it happily
“All these years we have lot many things missed”
You are not at your best and often kissed
