A Road To Nowhere Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

A Road To Nowhere

Rating: 5.0

The road to nowhere -
There is a graceful moment waiting,
If it is only for today,
Crossing the succulent highlands,
Up the winding road just away.

The road to nowhere -
Not far from the rigors of the city
There is a paved road that winds
And a narrow, rugged pathway
Where the paved road entwines.

The road to nowhere -
Where the country air is fresh and pure
And all the trees in the forest seem to sway
Appearing to be anointed from above,
Up the winding road just away.

The road to nowhere -
Create suspense within the soul
If it is only on a pleasant day,
For there is a graceful moment waiting,
Up the winding road just away.

Very nostalgic. Your road to nowhere is dappled with sunshine and set to summer's tune. Take care. Warm regards, Sandra
