A Rustic Trail Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Rustic Trail

Rating: 5.0

Are we following the trail
Of a man so many adore?
It looks as though he’s been here
It says so on the door

Although it’s a bed and breakfast
It think it’s more than that
I see John Wayne images
Why there’s his face and his hat

It’s a rustic place through and through
I just know you’ll love it, folks
A place to stop and investigate
Oh no, it’s not a joke

You really can spend the night
You can turn back the clocks again
So come and jump on the bus
For it’s right around the bend!
