My peregrination towards a scintillating evening
bypassing your pristine riverbank
Where tall palm trees sway their leaves
Mottled ebony formed colonade like sentries
Brahminy kites over the blue sky forming
a lariat of lasso while returning to their roost.
I saw the silhouette of my fair breasted maiden
standing tall alike a blue mermaid
without her tail on the backdrop of
cobalt blue water of great river kopotaksha
The river where I am destined to
herald our rendezvous near the bower,
Water of river cry of her melancholy, under the sky
Fills my soul with the truth that
the single thing; that I love her
with my fullest aspirations, I came here for reunion.
