A Season Of Sadness Poem by Hebert Logerie

A Season Of Sadness

Rating: 5.0

A season of sadness
A season of sorrow
No one knows what tomorrow
Will bring at this hour of madness
A president is being impeached
Lots of foolish wars are going on
Does it make sense to be rich?
Lots of frivolous fights are going on
Life is so darn unusual and fragile
We come and we go like that
Yet, some people are so vile
Something is going on, there's a plot
Somewhere.People are dying
Too many of our brothers and sisters
Are being killed. How many years
Do we have left on earth? Nobody knows
Yet, we act and behave like we are eternal
How many hours do we need to pause
To think, so we can be spiritual?
Death comes without blowing a whistle
Without whispering like a summer wind
Life is indeed highly volatile and brittle
Death brings grief. Death is never a friend
Death brings pain. Death is fatal
Death kills like a ferocious animal
This is the season of sadness
This is the season of madness.
