despite lit a warm coal fire
warmth heating kitchen
dinning room last night
house shook off heat
chilled climatized overnight
those 1950s no insulation
walls shed leak heat
no modern blanket warm wrap
around house insulation walls
house was cold for me 11 degrees
celsius this morning when waking
still is still cold around lunchtime
time to heat a small meal eat
do dishes in hot water to warm hands
days waking to 9 degrees
celsius are coming
a low cold front
with rain forecast
for weekend
will cut lawns late
afternoon then luxury
luxury a hot hot shower
delighting in warm water
just the thought
of warm water brings
smile to face
cat just arrived home
was out in morning sun
cat now on dinning
room couch sleeping
curled up nose burying
in tail fur warm sleeping
