A Set Back Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I was shown displeasure
I was unable to decide it for sure
It was cutting me from within
It was clear set back and no win

I could see clear partiality
There was no outstanding quality
I could only lament and feel pity
I still tried very hard to have amity

It does happen in all the spheres
No walk of life is spared from this fear
It saddens the people for alight provocation
It creates bitterness and gives clear indication

One may opt out if he or she is clever enough
We all err at certain level and fall through
No one can act tough and at the same time rough
We are sentimental and not made of such stuff

We may feel to boycott sometimes
It may not prove helpful anytime
We got to stay together and face
We are bound to loose in mad race

It can’t be made as thumb rule
Wed must make it as combined pull
You will have to face deception and treachery
There is no use to feel bad and sorry

You may not be able to make frequent changes
Time may come when you will not be able to manage
We got to be a part of evil set up and still remain aloof
You need to be above all without needing a proof

No one has survived strong lobby
You can’t join there as pure hobby
You may have to face all odds and furry
You will have to sail smooth and can’t move in hurry
