A Shining Light Poem by Richard (Narad) Eggenberger

A Shining Light

A Shining Light

Now the sweeping rain upon us comes
Relentless is its grace upon the soil
And thunder with its sound of battle drums
Gives brief rest from our lifelong toil.

From my window, deeply drawn within
I watch the frolic of the dancing wind
And know there is on earth no lasting sin
But in the aftermath of evil find

A shining light, precursor of our way
And in companionship with regal stars
We move once more towards a lustrous day
Healed of duality's multitudinous scars.

Escorted into light now free of doubt,
The helping hostile forces ushered out!
