A shock
Monday,28th September 2020

It gave me no surprises
when you broke the promises
and went away from the scene
making me sad even

it not only gave me a shock
but made a laughingstock
people made jokes on my love
and believed i was dumped

I became the centre of attraction
for the strained relation
it was not at all their concern
but they tried to pass the blame in turn

it brought me on the road
made me to move like beggar
to earn the pity from passers-by
it did hurt me even more

thewounds remained unhealed
she added more and more
I forgave her for desertion
and ending the close relation

Poem: 59273693 - A Shock And Member: Dr Pintu Mahakul Comment: This is good the keep promise ahead with greater responsibility. But certainly it is seen that few either fail to keep promise or knowingly they try to betray not to keep their promises given to others. Such case is so sad. Certainly we forgive. You too forgive. This is a benevolent quality you have respected poet sir. This poem is very thoughtfully written!
