they call the blues
and don't nobody have to
tell no man
what the blues is all about
the blues is a
sickness
everybody get and nobody
is left out

the blues aint nothing
but pain and misery
the blues is a sickness
that is going around
and they are as contagious
as they can be

The blues is a
sickness
its one you don't want
to come down with
