A Silly Little Ditty Too Poem by Jeremy Nel

A Silly Little Ditty Too

Here Kitty Kitty!
Come play with this mitty
That I had found here on the dirty floor
Right outside our very door!
It must have fallen from a pram
Not noted by the baby’s dam

So now little Kitty
You can have the mitty!
Catch it in your paw
Bite it with your maw
Knock it all about floor
Even right out through the door

Go on little Kitty!
Amuse yourself with your new mitty!
Kick it with your hind paw
As you roll about the floor
Pouncing on your new friend
Whose previous relationship had come to an end...

Kind of think its not so silly... whose previous relationship had come to an end... a pair that was perfect has been broken and now on its own the mitten is just an amusement for another.... not so silly.
