A Simple Gesture Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Simple Gesture

Rating: 5.0

It is not easy to offer solace
Until you had similar situation to face
You may be living in palace
But you may certainly know about hut if you had chance in case

You should shed your rigid stand
You construct new bridge for friends
There is definte trust bridge with end
I should be our goal and trend too

I will not be able to judge
Until I am prepared for little to budge
There is no point in having the grudge
Until you come through that stage

It is not mere lip service or advice
It may certainly not come to the help or suffice
It will assuage the feelings and overcome
The living volcano not to erupt but welcome

No one may come and simply take part
In your grief and voluntarily depart
Fromm his past experience and feel
It is fine gesture and try for voids to fill

Though it may look mere customary
Still it look commendable and examplary
It is in fact essential and necessary
To congratulate friend and adversary
