A Simple Mistake Poem by Vision Ghost

Perhaps sometimes reminders of being a human render
When the soul bleeds forgetting a heart needs to beat
To pursue these passions faster than I can be a contender
But I would rather be broken than to admit the defeat

Even when words so cruel cut through the hearts pride
And forgetting when I say I am always by your side
Sometimes so frightened I hold what can’t take me
The weight of the soul lost in the mind that can’t see

Feelings undisguised which come always as the pain
Forgetting sometimes two people can burden the strain
When the world turns and one of us is lost somewhere
Though your calling will always be heard upon the air

Falling back upon the past as that of residual remedies
As you forgot that I’m different away from complexities
That tells your mind, “look out and seal away your heart”
Even when my touch was never made to tear you apart

The fog of confusion rises and clouds this perception
Forgetting our can eyes burn so to feel that emotion
Two hearts always apart in distance and circumstance
Can survive almost anything if ever given the chance

So when the embrace is succeeded our hearts are one
To endlessly beat and be proof of love never undone
Forgetting so the way of this world for just one day
Lost in passions I nearly forgot what I needed to say

When words fall out as the senseless damming of us
Feelings now high the reality crash hurts and so thus
We forgot that we were only meant to be so human
And yet learn to accept and forever love so as thus one

If ever a call is answered then one can only ever speak
If ever one is lost then one can only ever need to seek
And if ever one should make that of a simple mistake
Please don’t forget I never meant to put you at stake
