You touched our lives
In every way
Your smile
Shone through
Many layers of pain
When you embraced the heavens
I vowed
To hold you close to me
You are with me
In my heart
And everywhere I go
Before you flew away
I made a promise
To never forget your smile
And so another year passes by
But you still in my heart
Through the seasons
In the living years
You are still with me
