A Special Gift Poem by Gail Grierson

A Special Gift

Rating: 5.0

Time is passing faster
Than it ever did before;
I try to use it wisely,
But I’m always needing more.

I never seem to finish
What I think I need to do;
No matter how much time I have,
It’s gone before I’m through.

Days go by too quickly,
Too many things to do;
But I never get so busy that
I can’t spend time with you.

When I get a phone call,
It brightens up my day;
Doesn’t matter what I’m doing,
I love hearing what you say.

Your words can lift my spirits
If I’m having a bad day;
You seem to have a special gift
For knowing what to say.
