A Stephen King Classic Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

A Stephen King Classic

A Stephen King Classic

I can bearwitness,
as the event's follower,

the futility of the world
at it's core,

Thescary clown's grapples,
of looming eyes
of senseless pursuits,

the breathing
quadrillions of
life's contamination,

math sense of
a scientific God,
onslaught tragedies,
and apocalypse,

balloons of little goodness,
it vanishes from our hands,
the minute to minutes,
interference,
distortion,
disorientation,

You're helpless eyes,
becoming part
of the fearful heart,

particles of air,
the mind quantum's
tiniest grasps
of vanishing incandescenthope,

why why,
whatever happens
with this Mephistopheles waltzes,
and Jesus Christ
mankind will ever be safe again,

These moments based on victims,
The tenants of
exponential execution,
death
by the crown of the dictator,

summarily the king would call,
great story telling
the world enjoys as
a Stephen King classic,
