A Song For You Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

A Song For You

A Song for You

When the last drop of blood becomes the poisons

When veterbrates you become an inveterbrates squirming in a body of pain

When the mind mixes reality with fictions,

When the dreams became summons fromthe people unknown

When your name is being called bysome lost friends and relatives.

Lost incidences from the archives of the memories,

Cogitated with no recognition

When you are pleading for a losing vision, a losing consciousness, a lungincapacity and a kidney failure,

When you should be walking instead bed ridden and dissolving,

If i were to offer you a song right now,
the world would not be more kinder to you

it had been a life
nevertheless it was your life.

And this is your song.
