A Stinking Hot Summer Day Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Stinking Hot Summer Day

it is a dry stinking hot summer day
the kind known as a scorcher
the kind where poetry

is excreted from pores
by poets who leave cool shade
venture out into hot hot heat of day
