A Stolen Heart Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Stolen Heart

Rating: 5.0

I stole your heart
And claimed to be very smart
It was not designed or any deliberate part
Neither it was deception nor any art

The sweet words are used as metaphor
Its usage is suitable therefore
The feeling and attachament has come to the fore
The same was unknown to all this before

Am I to be blamed for this act?
Was I the only target for to react?
I did fall in game in fact
I am unsure of to be on right tract

Well, I shall true to the last
I will have not to act so fast
It was natural for me to go in
She too was fitted for the role of queen

I am nature’s admirer
I may looked by her as emperor
As she may be in control of my domain
She will stay at core of heart and remain

I shall blink not for a second
As I am very much obsessed and fond
She has altogether altered the course
No one else is in mind of course

I shall have nothing much to decide
Open all cards to her and confide
There is absolutely nothing to hide
As the gap has been reduced and not remained wide

I have now only to concentrate
There is everything to celebrate
I feel proud when happily narrate
It is nice feeling to state

I shall cross over to another world
There will always be warmth and not cold
I shall be lucky enough to wed her
It will be last word from her to hear
