A Sunshine Quest Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

A Sunshine Quest

Rating: 5.0

Sunrise golden hour was fading
Gemmed hummingbirds called on red blooms
Jade new day sparkled in wonder.

Songs from pine trees gushed cascading
the still air heavy with perfumes;
Unrecalled were days of thunder.

A lush garden, blooms invading
for hummingbirds in sweet costumes
as bronze sun grew hot way under.

Juicy cherries were pervading
like the bold rainbow which presumes
casting the grim storms asunder.

Soon off to be quite well traveled
Before day, in hues unraveled.
