A-Thinking Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

I spend my day a-thinking,
Thinking of what to do,
Shall I write a poem?
A special one for you?

What will be the subject?
I shall have to think again,
At this moment it is ~
Beyond my ken.

Perhaps when I have finished,
And written another line,
My thoughts will bring the answer,
And the poem will be fine.

But now I am a-thinking,
How to get the scan and rhyme,
My pen upon the paper,
Writing yet another line.

I still do not have an answer,
What the subject will be,
But this poem now has been written,
To be read once more by thee.
