A Thousand Miles Apart Poem by Samarah Essler

A Thousand Miles Apart

A thousand miles apart,
have we changed how we love? ,
I still want to be together,
I still long to feel your touch,
feeling empty with thoughts in my head,
thinking this thing and thinking that thing,
should I think something else instead? ,
long distance relationships are hard and rough,
two people who love each other,
sometimes could be tough,
wanting my life to grow old with you,
just trying to tell you my point of view,
talking to one another,
loving each other,
and wanting to be together,
will things turn out in the end? ,
will you still at lest be my friend? ,
I then turn around,
stop thinking like this,
stop feeling down,
we still feel,
we still talk,
we still have hope,
as we both walk,
in two different places far away,
I know no matter what
in our hearts,
we'll stay.

thats a very beautiful poem: i love the emotion put into the words to show the distance along with confusion and hope
