A Tongue With No Words Poem by Santosh Misra

A Tongue With No Words

A TONGUE WITH NO WORDS

If the tongue reacts to
Loss of words,
A situation, alike a broken fetus,
Makes an eager appearance.

The quick and successive
Eruption of anxiety
Brings scratches on the beating heart,
The sky above the head appears colorless
With a bruise moon.

I fail to guess
How the evolution incipient
In a deserted plain
with a tongue with no words.
