The Moonlit Night Poem by Santosh Misra

The Moonlit Night

Rating: 5.0

A terrible evolution of time andtides of life
Has caused me to relinquish
The joys of radical pleasure
And The moonlit night is not extradited
Despite the abundance of its
Magical attraction and celestial nurture.

Its magnetic touch certainly fails now
To make me thrill in my solitude,
And all, otherwise, I am not so eager
To quest for a companion.

Minus my noble partner
Who can else walk in hands with me for miles,
Soaked in the bright beams
Before the next dawn.

All I wish, you would join me
And make me to run with you
As a high-way man
Ever in the dazzles of the scared beams of
The Moonlit Night
