A Touch Of Class Poem by Shaun Cronick

A Touch Of Class

Rating: 5.0

I'm all fired up,
From what I've viewed.
A sad state of affairs,
When poetry's devalued.

Many a dogs dinner,
Sad bones of contention.
What's passing for poetry,
Is not worth a mention.

But behold a few,
That cast a light.
A touch of class,
Worthy to recite.

Very perceptive poem Shaun! Perhaps, it's a good idea not to view these particular poems' many a dog's dinner' and just concentrate on composing your own. that's what I tend to do these days. For me, this site is very useful in terms of collating my work anything else is a bonus. It has certainly helped me to pick out relevant poems for the poetry course I'm currently studying. Anyway, it's a faithful five from me!
