A Touch Of Love

A touch of love can mean so much
To a weary traveler
Who's felt the pangs and pains of life
And feels so insecure
In life's disruption's floundering
Just doesn't know where to turn
And feels a great abandonment
From those to whom he yearns

And a separation of love
Can be the most devasting
When there's no one else around
To feel the that real heartbreaking
So love...yes love...has binding power
To heal a broken heart
Just an arm around a friend
Can be the love to start

So don't hold back from giving it
It's free there for the taking
God has blessed us with His love
True compassion in the making
He knew the loss we would feel
When sin has had it's run
And offered up His great love
In the giving of His Son

So if you feel alone today
Thinking that anyone doesn't care
There's a shoulder here to lean on
God will meet you there
Not a problem that He doesn't know of
That you are presently going through
Come to Him though heavy hearted
He can lift the load from you!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
