A Tribute To The Beautiful Poet Daniel Brick Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Tribute To The Beautiful Poet Daniel Brick

sadness still lingers in silent soul
tears that will not come
tighten in tight turmoil stomach
throat seems choked for want of words
eyes feel tears at edge tugging at soul
anticipation haunts waiting for words
anguished waiting for dear Daniel's
new poems that will no more come

Daniel Brick was a beautiful soul
Daniel Brick was a delightful poetic mind
Daniel Brick was a gift blessing inspiring
with astute insight wisdom kind words
if I were a wiser man with time I would
find read every legacy comment Daniel wrote

sometimes I quietly visit his words poems read
Daniel Brick quietly in soft silent poetic admiration

Daniel Brick was refined golden warmth sunlight
Daniel Brick perceived reached illuminated shadows
Daniel Brick wrote masterpiece 'After The Poet's Death'
poems left wait bless delight in fresh minds discoveries

thoughts ideas words ever dance through poetic mind
I am still the child thrilled by shifting golden light
of a buttercup on a child's neck in white light a summer's
day in childhood memories; the child is ever chasing

shadows balloons blown on the wind calls of bird song
the child restless active is always running in moments
to arrive leaving beauty lingering in beautified memories
