A True Friend Poem by Nidhi Rajesh Kumari

A True Friend

When life is going all against your wish,
And you have no one to share,
There's always one person, just one,
Who honestly helps you to bear.
That person may neither be the richest,
Nor the smartest of all you know,
But, that is all you'll need in times of trouble,
Not a gang of friends for show.
When you fall once and again,
Facing the hurdles the world brings in,
That one person will hold your hand,
Saying, 'Stay clam, keep trying.'
That is the biggest boost for your success,
Which would make you strong and bold,
And, that friend is a real one, more
Precious than diamonds or gold.
Never loosen your grip to that hand,
For, that's your most expensive treasure,
And all you'd require to divide your sorrows,
And multiply your biggest pleasure.
