Fear Of The Dark

Everything in this world comes to leave
However huge a trouble its departure may give
Even the sunlight disappears in the clouds
And so do many people, in the crowds.

I Know

The eyes that guide me,
The hands that hold me,
The words that support me,
They are yours I know!

In The Night

The stars above me, why do they shine so bright?
When deep within me, there's not a bit of light.
Each tear dropp that rolls from my eye,
Makes my soul a little more dry.

An Ordinary Heartbreak

I asked him what was the right thing to do,
To love him still or start anew,
He turned his back and went away
I knew he wouldn't, yet wished he'd stay.

Telling The Truth

Every minute of our lives, we face a question
They say, its important that we answer it
And we begin looking for a perfect reply
No matter how false or unsuited for us it is.

I Am Me

I sing in the bathrooms and at nights.
I am quite moody and cause silly fights.
I love painting, poems and talking on the phone.
I hate show off and being at home, alone.

Keeping A Promise

I told him I could give up my speech just for a minute's talk.
I told him I could catch a wheel chair after an hour long walk.
He turned to me and tried to reason out
That our being together was blissful, no doubt.

Dear Martin

Dear Martin, I hold this pen
To tell you something from the inside
Something buried deep within me
Ready to hit my lips like the high tide.

One Person

They say that good times aren't meant for retrospection
But, I believe they are the best to look back
When you can sit by a riverside and think
What is it that those past days lacked.

Melody Of A Crying Soul

Singing, am I singing?
Or is this the cry of my soul?
Just a flashback of yesterdays
Digs in me, a deep hole.
