A Valentine Day Musings
It is the day when the young hearts beat faster
In happy anticipation the mind too remains eager
It is the day when one may lavish gifts or offer a simple flower
For when you have presented your heart can anything be dearer?
It is the day when love soars to heavenly flight
And on wings of happiness even obscure corners are decked in bright lights
It is the day when you would like to avoid a headache or a fever
Or this beautiful day shall be held captive to chain and fetter!
