A Warning From My Late Dad Poem by Hebert Logerie

A Warning From My Late Dad

Rating: 5.0

My father used to tell
Me not to follow any fools
Especially the ones at the pools
I thought that was a tale
Now, I realize that dad was right
My father was clairvoyant and bright
He had also warned me not to vote
For fools or for bad politicians who lie
Now, I try to pass the same note
To my children who shall rightfully abide
And follow the same exact advices and rules
Not to vote for any dumb or delusional fools
As we go forward, I hope that the good citizens
Of the world heed smart advices not to ever vote
For pathological or hypocritical liars, not to promote
Despotic or evil individuals. My late father was right
My dad was my hero, my pharos and my eternal light
It was my pleasure to warn you about human carcinogens.

Show me a politician who doesn't lie and I'll vote for you, Hebert! You might enjoy some of my political poems.
