A Willed Knot Poem by Jeremiah Wheeler

A Willed Knot

I say I don't know how to yell out and feel good about it, I just get smaller and curl up, my voice not meant for violence though I feel it like you at times I fear the feel as it rumbles inside it appeals to you so I will cleverly sever then hide it's stings and peals away at my small space in time, timing is still the key to what keeps me alive. A will That I won't and this is all I need find in this bitter life. Enough to keep it rough but never too much, a teetering balance that is the matter of my facts. Slow to catch but willing to react and necessary I will make it stretch just long enough to make the catch, this will be my catch! just resting inside this anxious young mind it's never due just kinda north never satisfied just kinda moving forth. That's enough and all it will be, just sleep inside the mind until it's time to be seen, just stay inside until the great thaw comes and streams me back to the cold Black Sea, as it is the beginning and the end of the perfect circle that is my ride!
