A Wise Man Poem by Randy McClave

A Wise Man

Man is wiser than any other creature
Unto them God made him master and a teacher,
He teaches them work and tricks to do
They are taught happily without a clue.
A wise man knows the journey that he must take
He knows every pain and every ache,
For any journey is ready and always prepared
Down every situation, he has already stared.
The wise man knows not to make the same mistake twice
That is why is always ready to listen and to give advice,
And he stays away when rice is cooked or thrown
He knows truly it's best to strategically dine all alone.
A wise man truly knows right from wrong
With everyone he tries his best to just get along,
He believes in truth and does not ever judge others
As he know in this world we are all sisters and brothers.
A wise knows of course there is a God
To which daily he does praise and does applaud,
And all the gifts and knowledge that God does give
The wise man thanks him for the life that he does live.
A wise man can never, ever be used or even tricked
Wisdom is the path and destiny that the philosopher picked,
Remember this a man is ever so wise
Until he sees the tears in a woman's eyes.
