Show compassion to all living beings,
Cherish the company of the wise and love for others;
Rise above greed and worldly attachments,
And cast aside all false illusions, O mortal soul.

Walk the path of truth,
Become a guardian to all living creatures;
Every being has the right to live—
Only then shall you attain liberation from this existence.

Life extends beyond the realm of death;
Life presents many thresholds to cross—
Traverse them with wisdom and understanding,
Lest you fall into the abyss of ruin.

Reflect deeply for just a moment, O soul—
When again will you be blessed with a human life?
